Privacy Policy
How Panadium handles the personal information you share with us, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains what personal information Panadium collects through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and we manage marketing messages in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Effective July 2026. If you have a question about this policy or how we handle your information, email us at [email protected].
What personal information we collect
We only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. When you use our quote wizard, request a callback, or send us an enquiry through a form on this site, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you choose to provide it
- Your suburb or the location of the property
- Details about your project — the type of work, scope, finish level and any notes you add
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don’t send it. You can browse the site without giving us any personal information; we only receive details when you choose to submit a form.
Why we collect it, and how we use it
We collect this information so we can do the thing you asked us to do — contact you about your renovation, arrange a free consultation, and prepare a fixed-price quote. Specifically, we use it to:
- Respond to your enquiry and call or email you back, usually the same day
- Understand your project so we can give you a meaningful estimate and quote
- Arrange and carry out an on-site consultation and any follow-up
- Keep a record of our dealings with you and provide our building services if you engage us
- Improve this website and the way we respond to enquiries
If you don’t provide the information we ask for, we may not be able to give you an accurate quote or get back to you.
Who we share it with
We treat your details as confidential. We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only where it’s needed to do the work, including to:
- Our own team and project managers, so the right person can call you back and quote your job
- Service providers that help us run the business — for example our website host, email and form-handling tools, and customer-management software — who are only permitted to use your information to provide their service to us
- Licensed trades or partners involved in your project, where this is necessary to prepare or deliver the work
- Anyone we are required or authorised to disclose to by law
Some of the tools we use to host the site and handle form submissions may store data on servers located outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
How we store and protect it
We hold your information in our email and customer-management systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as the law requires, and then take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Direct marketing and opting out
If you contact us, we may occasionally send you information that’s relevant to your enquiry or our services. We will only send marketing messages where we’re permitted to, and every such message will include a clear way to opt out. You can tell us at any time that you don’t want to receive marketing — just reply to the message or email [email protected] — and we’ll stop. Opting out of marketing won’t affect us getting back to you about a quote you’ve asked for.
Cookies and website analytics
This site may use cookies, session storage and analytics or advertising measurement tools to understand how visitors find and use it, measure enquiries and improve our services. This can include campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers (such as Google or Meta click IDs), the page you visited and interaction events such as a form submission or phone-link click. We associate campaign details with an enquiry when you choose to submit one so we can understand which advertising produced it. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or clear site data, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it’s wrong or out of date. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. There’s normally no charge to ask; if a request is unusually large we’ll tell you about any reasonable cost before we proceed. We may need to verify your identity before we release information.
Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your personal information or breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please tell us first so we can put it right. Email [email protected] with the details and we’ll acknowledge your complaint and work with you to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page. Where changes are significant, we’ll make that clear on the site.
