Specialist bathroom renovation team
Panadium specialise in bathroom renovations across Sydney, handling every trade in-house, from a compact ensuite to a full strip-out that moves walls and services.
Renovating a bathroom in an older Sydney home almost always starts the same way: a strip-out that finds what the old finish was hiding — timber flooring softened by decades of shower water, a membrane that never turned up the wall, or waste pipework due for replacement. We open the room back to the studs and slab before we price the fix, so any genuine find becomes a documented variation you sign off, never a surprise on the invoice. It's the same discipline behind every bathroom transformation, whether you renovate one wall of tile or gut the room for a bathroom overhaul — quality materials and one standard of finish, whether it's the main bathroom or a second ensuite.
The transformation

The Panadium standard
Honed stone, brushed brass and natural light. A bathroom is the smallest room in the house and the hardest to build well — the difference lives in the junctions, where glass meets stone and where the waste sits in the floor. Underneath, it's cement-sheet substrate fixed and taped before a seamless waterproof membrane runs floor to wall upstand with no joint at the corner, and screed falls graded to the waste so the floor drains to the outlet, not the door.

What's included
Every fixed-price quote covers the complete bathroom renovation — the tiling and cabinetry you can see, and the waterproofing and services you can't.
Where the bath, shower and vanity sit is planned before any wall moves — a bathroom layout and a bathroom design built around how you use the room, not a template.
Certified waterproofing makes every wet area watertight, then large-format tiling is set out by a dedicated tiler so lines run true into every corner.
All plumbing and electrical brought up to current standard — new pipework, in-wall mixers, ducted exhaust ventilation, lighting and heated towel circuits — by licensed trades.
We supply and install every fixture and fitting, or fit yours — tapware, basins, toilets and screens chosen to last.
Custom cabinetry and stone-topped vanities built to the millimetre, storage designed into the layout, not added afterwards.
One project manager holds the whole bathroom renovation together — every supplier, every trade and the program — one point of contact, not five trades to chase.

Good to know
Compare written inclusions and selections, licensing, wet-area documentation and completed work. Check which fixtures are allowed for and what documents will be provided at handover. That gives you a clearer comparison than photographs or a total price alone.
Most bathroom renovations in Greater Sydney run $25–35k for a standard finish, $35–60k for premium, and $60k+ for luxury stone-and-brass builds. Your fixed-price quote depends on size, layout changes and fixtures, and we give you the exact cost of your renovation before any work starts.
Standard bathrooms typically take 2–3 weeks on site, premium 3–4 weeks, and luxury builds 4–6 weeks.
Yes. Waterproofing is carried out by licensed applicators to AS 3740, you receive the compliance certificate at handover, with the work and its scope recorded in writing.
Most like-for-like bathroom renovations in houses don’t need a DA. Apartments usually need owners-corporation approval for waterproofing and wet-area works — we prepare the documentation and manage the strata process for you.
Not to the standard we build to. A genuine bathroom renovation that's fully waterproofed, re-tiled and re-plumbed by licensed trades starts at $25,000 with us. For a lower-priced offer, compare the written waterproofing, plumbing and fixture inclusions, and ask which existing parts will be retained.
A small bathroom renovation isn't always cheaper — the same waterproofing, plumbing and tiling steps apply in less space. Small bathroom renovations in Sydney still involve the full process; what changes is the quantity of tile and fixtures, not the work.
Yes — from a clean, modern bathroom to a contemporary bathroom in honed stone and brushed brass. Our bathroom designers work through renovation ideas and finishes to suit your budget and the finish levels above.
Often, yes. A bathroom and adjoining laundry frequently share a wall, plumbing and waterproofing, so renovating them together under one contract saves time and cost. The same applies to a kitchen and bathroom renovated at the same time — a shared program instead of two separate contracts. We handle bathroom and laundry renovations across the city as a single project.
Yes — fixture and tapware selection is made room by room, not locked to one palette for the house. On our Darlington Terrace renovation, one bathroom was finished in light stone with a stylish run of brushed-brass tapware and the other in dark stone-look tile with matte-black fittings, both built to the same waterproofing and tiling standard within the one project.
Your build schedule is fixed at contract stage, before work starts, because in a single-bathroom home the finish-level durations above are also how long the household goes without one. We sequence the strip-out, the waterproofing membrane’s cure time and the tiling back to back within the bathroom renovation project, and the fixed completion date in your contract is the one we build to.
Panadium are bathroom renovation specialists, not a referral service — every trade is ours, so your renovator is never a different subcontractor each week. We are renovation experts who also tender on University of Sydney commercial work, and we bring that same professionalism — the paperwork, the sign-offs, the quality checks — home to a single ensuite or a full rebuild.
